Repurpose Experiments
The photographs of plastics which I interpreted as skin led me to research about skin in more depth. The sketchbook demonstrates my experimentation with different materials that represent skin, in particular tights. In these sketchbook pages I developed 3D and fashion designs. During these experimentations I created a large-scale soft sculpture of a torso which was composed of materials hand dyed and creased. I composed multiple samples as seen in the middle and right photographs at the bottom of the page.
