This Work is titled "Drawing of an Elephant" believed to have been drawn with ink on paper by an unknown artist however the artists is believed to have been of Indian decent and associated with the Mughal School of arts in the early 18th Century. The drawing is small, about the size of a photograph; 12.8 x 18.1 cm (5 1/16 x 7 1/8 in.). its size and plane subject lead me to believe it was a rough draft of a company painting.
