Dirty Window at West Bottoms

Spent the day antiquing in the West Bottom District of Kansas City yesterday. It is First Friday weekend so all the antique stores and junk shops were open for business. This a really cool event and there are probably a dozen or more places to hit during the weekend. Just be prepared to do some walking...particularly up stairs. The antique shops are in 100 plus year old brick buildings that were formerly warehouses or other industrial facilities during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. I shot this image with my Yashica LM TLR on JCH400 film. I was trying to expose for the buildings in the background but I think I was just a bit low with the composition. This is a pretty typical view from most of the buildings in the West Bottoms and I think this particular scene was on the 4th floor of this building...a lot of stairs for sure. Image developed using D76 at 1:1 dilution.
