Hay Harvest in Northeast Kansas
Every Summer I look forward to hay harvest at our place in Northeast Kansas. I have a gentleman's agreement with a local cattle rancher who gets our hay, he has the equipment and experience, while I have the willingness to labor in the hot Kansas sun to get the hay cut and put up in round bales. This is a picture of me cutting hay this season taken by my wife, my crew chief. She makes sure I'm okay for the many hours it takes to cut the hay.
