Engine 811 (Take 2)

This is the second of two sheets of film I exposed of Engine 811 last Saturday in Atchison, KS. It was a really gray day and I was a little concerned with the amount of shadow detail I would be able to capture on this mostly black Locomotive. I shot this at f32 for 1 second and I was very pleased with the result. This was captured with my Anniversary Speed Graphic camera on Foma 100 film, developed with 510 Pyro at 1:100 dilution. Foma film is imported from the Czech Republic and is a relative inexpensive film that really loves 510 Pyro developer. I recommend enlarging this image so you can see the amazing detail that this camera/film/developer combination is capable of rendering.
