The Imperial Eagle 1977.13_web

“The Imperial Eagle” dates to the c. 1-25 in the early 1st century, and belongs to Italy, Rome, probably Augustan culture. It is made of cornelian intaglio and the type of work is jewelry. It can be viewed at the Roman collection, located at the department of Greek and Roman Art at Cleveland Museum of Art in Gallery 103 Roman. The dimension of the Imperial Eagle is 3.5 cm (1 3/8 in.) The access number is 1972.99 and it was purchased from the J. H. Wade Fund. The image can also be seen on the museum’s website.
