At the end of the afternoon, checking on a plant at the far end of my garden where the Kentia Palm Tree grows, I noticed two Orange Palm Dart Butterflies, sitting pretty on a new and an old palm. This is the new one. It is possible that both Butterflies were born there, since "The host plants for the Orange Palm Dart Butterfly, Cephrenes augiades, are palm trees with broad-leaf pinnae, such as the Kentia Palm (Howea forsteriana)" and these are the Butterflies that I see the most in my garden /
En fin d'apres-midi, alors que j'inspectais une plante tout au bout de mon jardin, la ou se trouve un Palmier Kentia, j'ai remarque deux Hesperies de l'espece Orange Palm Dart, joliment posees sur une palme neuve et une plus ancienne. Celle-ci est sur la palme neuve. Il est possible que ces deux Hespéries soient nees la car les plantes hotes de ces Papillons sont les palmiers a larges feuilles tels que les palmiers Kentia et ce sont les Papillons que je vois le plus souvent dans mon jardin.
