The Eternal City 🇮🇹

We visited Rome in January and it was teeming with tourists after having to cancel a trip during Covid. I took this classic view of St Peter's basilica and the St Angelo bridge from Ponte Umberto bridge. It looks quite tranquil as I was above the crowds. They call Rome the eternal city as the Romans thought their empire would last forever. Certainly the memories of the beautiful architecture are eternal.
