Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical technique, also known as keyhole surgery

Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical technique, also known as keyhole surgery. It is performed via two surgical punctures in the skin – one for the arthroscope and one for the camera for visualization.

The surgeon is able to clearly visualize the joints and the extent of damage while the patient is under general anaesthesia. Arthroscopy has great potential as it is minimally invasive, results in fewer complications, and has lower recovery time.
