Noch eine Woche, dann ist der Einsatz von VT2E im Taunus vorbei und es übernehmen die Regionalverkehre Start Deutschland GmbH die Betriebsführung auf den Linien RB 11, 12, 15 und 16.
Am Nachmittag des 02.09.2022 haben VT2E 14 und VT2E 12 gerade den Hasselborner Tunnel durchfahren und passieren beim ehemaligen Haltpunkt "Jägerhaus" den alten Gleisanschluss der „Metallwerke Taunus Johann Saar GmbH“ (Saarwerke). Dort wurden bis 1985 Metallschränke- und regale produziert. Nach Rückbau und Sanierung des Industriestandorts betreibt hier mittlerweile die kommunale Rhein-Main-Deponie GmbH den Biomassehof Grävenwiesbach. Das Anschlussgleis ist zwar noch angebunden, wird heute allerdings nur noch sehr spordisch für die Versorgung von Bahnbaustellen verwendet.

One more week, then the use of VT2E in the Taunus will be over and the Regionalverkehre Start Deutschland GmbH take over the operation on the lines RB 11, 12, 15 and 16.
On the afternoon of 02.09.2022, VT2E 14 and VT2E 12 have just passed the Hasselborn tunnel and are passing the old siding of the "Metallwerke Taunus Johann Saar GmbH" (Saarwerke) at the former stop "Jägerhaus". Metal cabinets and shelves were produced there until 1985. Following the dismantling and redevelopment of the industrial site, the municipal Rhein-Main-Deponie GmbH now operates the Grävenwiesbach biomass yard there. The siding is still connected, but is now only used very sporadically to supply railway construction sites.
