Schloß Moritzburg / Moritzburg castle
Schloss Moritzburg ist ein barockes Jagd- und Lustschloss in Sachsen, Deutschland. Es liegt auf einer künstlich angelegten Insel inmitten eines Teiches, etwa 13 Kilometer nordwestlich von Dresden, nahe der Stadt Moritzburg.
Das Schloss wurde im 16. Jahrhundert als Jagdschloss erbaut und im 18. Jahrhundert unter August dem Starken im Barockstil umgestaltet. Es beeindruckt durch seine symmetrische Architektur, die prächtigen Innenräume und die malerische Umgebung. Besonders bekannt ist es auch als Drehort des beliebten Weihnachtsfilms „Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel“.
