Size presses apply sizing solution or coating colour simultaneously to both surfaces of a paper or board web. Film press for simultaneous, double-sided sizing, pigmentation, or coating of paper and board. Different coating weights can be applied to each side. The coating colour or sizing solution is metered onto the roll surfaces by means of metering rods and transferred to the paper or board web in the roll nip.
