Hoovers on a snowy mule route 11th February 1991 (1)

Moderate snowfall on evening of 10/2 left a good covering in Salisbury/Wilton/Tisbury area but had largely vanished by mid pm on 11/2. On 11th Feb 50018 Resolution featured on 2 CL50 double headed workings. That morning pictured approaching Barford St. Martin piloting 50017 Royal Oak on 1o34 08:11 Exeter St Davids - Waterloo. Ploughs looking at home at that location 50018 removed at Salisbury to work 1v11 11:15 Waterloo - Exeter St Davids with 50029 Renown DIT - That loco had failed on the route the previous day.

CL33/0 33019 had worked 1v11 to Salisbury.
