The former Milwaukee Road A-2 interlocking tower next to the Western Avenue (MD/NCS) Metra stop.
F59PHI #73 has a very interesting job. Whenever it's cold, it supplies the plant right next to it with air. Whenever there's not a locomotive, the plant uses normal air compressor. Just when it’s cold, they attempt to reduce the chance of a failure by keeping an engine there to supply air.
