Tourmakeady Waterfall, Co. Mayo, Ireland

I've shot here before (as has seemingly every other photographer in the west of Ireland) but I thought I'd give it a go, as there remains some autumn colour and I wanted to try out my new wide-angle lens. While there's an excellent view from the footpath, I brought along my 'wellies' and waded out into the stream, trying for a new composition. Rather than make the waterfall the centre of attention, I gave the large rock in the middle of the water, usually used as foreground interest, equal weight, and used some other stones to create a diagonal leading line across the frame.
