Iron Footbridge, Robe River, Co. Mayo, Ireland

This bridge is part of 'Bower's Walk', a footpath created in the 1800's along the banks of the Robe River, at Ballinrobe, to afford ladies of refinement a place to safely partake of the fresh air and scenery. Now, it's a great place to walk your dog, regardless of your social standing.
