SHAZAM!
Ever since I came back to SL, I’ve wanted to find a Mary Marvel costume, based on her original innocent incarnation, not the overt sexualized heroines all over the media and SL. I couldn’t find a costume or 1940s/50s A-Line dress I could use “as-is”. I saw some VERY nice dresses with lovely mesh details. But they had buttons, bows, polka-dots and stuff I couldn’t hide.
So I searched the Market Place and found a VERY nice full-perm and VERY basic A-Line dress mesh. The mesh is incredibly simple. I wish it had more structural-detail to play with. I tried to make up for it with hack and slash painting texture work. 22 attempts is the charm I guess, and a silk material I found on MP. hahaha…
Since I’m building again, this project was actually practice-work to get me ready to create brand new BoM stuff again.
