Here's another angle of Southern Vectis 1152 - HW09 BAA - a Scania N270UD OmniCity alongside 3326 - HW54 BUU - a Dennis Dart SLF Plaxton Mini Pointer that has been withdrawn from public service
It looks as if 3326's passenger service days are over as she hasn't appeared in service at the start of the school term. She will most likely be sold or donated to a preservation group.
1152 was taking the engineer back to the Nelson Road depot in Newport and remains in normal passenger service. The photo was taken moments before 3326 was parked alongside the withdrawn Vectis Blue coaches on the left.
Today (11th sept) there have been 2 buses back to back per hour cancelled on route 1 causing large gaps in the frequency.
3326 was new in the Winter of 2004/05 for route 1 and is small enough to fit under the arch by the Cowes Red jet (ferry) terminal. At the start of 2015 3326 was replaced by new enviro 200's and was transferred to sister company Damory but came back to the island at the end of 2018. 3326 was repainted into SV green from Damory blue and entered service on route 38 at the start of February 2019. Before COVID 3326 was a regular on routes 38/39. Since Summer 2020 she has been limited to school routes and route 32 on Saturdays before being withdrawn on 28th May 2021.
