Colorful mountain Lake

The mountain lake in the Allgäu Alps

presents itself from its colorful side in

October.

 

The Schrecksee is a small high

mountain lake in the Allgäu Alps and is

therefore part of the Allgäu High Alps

nature reserve. It has an area of 10.2

hectares including the 0.74 hectare

island. (Wikipedia)

 

The lake is 1813m above sea level.
