Darktable?

One of the things I want to do is to get rid of pirated software, in the photo editing realm of course, I use to use mostly ligthtroom ( from pirate bay ) and I kinda want to not use it any more. So I searched for alternatives ( free ) and there was 2 main software's Raw Therapee and Darktable. I Chose Darktable because ( at least that is what every one is saying ) it is gives much greater editing options. With that said I started to read it's manual and watch some video tutorials, and I can say that it is a quite good opponent to lightroom actually, it does basically the same things as lightroom but the difference is the layout, and to be honest I kinda like that darktable has more options ( in light and color) than Lightroom. Lightroom is more of a easier to learn at the beginning and it offers faster editing, Darktable it is complicated ( a little bit ) but in the long run ( I've been started to use it for 4 day now 😅 ) it is just as powerful if not even more powerful than lightroom. In Darktable I get the impression that I actually edit a photo. In lightroom I have a impression that I edit it for instagram of facebook. But I might change opinions in time who knows. Comparing the fact that Lightroom cost allot of money and Darktable just a internet conection for download.... I seriously believe that darktable is the winner ( at this moment at least ).
