MBTA Stone Train

The MBTA stone train is seen throttling up with F40PHM-2C 1027 providing power. This is one of the last MBTA F40PH's that still retains its original pneumatic steel cast bell. Fallowing behind are 6 "newish" ballast cars in the MassDOT paint. These were loaded with rail ballast on the Saugus Industrial Track on the beginning of the Eastern Route. The Stone train was going out deep on the Worcester line to drop by CP-39. At the tail end is MBTA's caboose C-1 which was a real treat for the south side.
