My favourite macro from today was this portrait of a 'Large skipper' butterfly. Despite the name they are a small butterfly species and this portrait was taken at nearly 4 times magnification.
The butterfly had landed on a fence so I was able to get 25 handheld shots and stack the image in PS.
I never noticed they had little horns before!
