The Burren, painting
acrylic/mixed media on canvas 50x30 cm/20x12 inch.
The word “Burren” comes from an Irish word “Boíreann” meaning a rocky place. The Burren is a karst/glaciokarst landscape centered in County Clare, on the west coast of Ireland. The cracks in the grey limestone pavement give the Burren a lunar impression. Also there are many more colors in the plants between and around the rocks. Close by are the Cliffs of Moher. I visited it on my trip to Ireland. Do so too if you can!
NOW available at my art store/gallery at Elven Falls Art Collective. Taxi:
