Tribute to Alyn

Conjunction of the moon and Jupiter in a pre-dawn spectacle.

 

I stumbled upon this nice alignment over Hopkins Falls in Warrnambool, where I blended lenses of different focal lengths to bring the sky closer and create this image.

 

This image is dedicated to the astrophotographer Alyn Wallace who unexpectedly passed away earlier this week. You were a character of joy, inspiration and integrity. You inspired me and many others to start shooting stars and we can't believe you have become one 😢

 

Rest in Paradise Alyn, you were the best there was 🙌
