Vanessa cardui taken at Wigan Flashes LNR when millions of PL's had "invaded" the UK from the continent (a so-called Painted Lady year). I love the underside of Painted Ladies, so detailed and attractive, and set-off perfectly by the green backdrop. One of my best ever butterfly photos. New improved edit 9th April 2021
