The Beast
Kenny looked up at the huge creature standing in front of him. It was . . . terrifying.
He'd landed on this Goldylocks-zone planet only a day ago, on a routine scouting mission, with Lenny.
This particular world was smaller than earth (therefore having lower gravity), so it's expected to find life-forms of large size.
But this . . . Kenny had to admit to himself, he'd never dreamed of seeing anything like this.
He'd split up with Lenny - they'd decided to search 2 different environments, to see what they'd find. Kenny had stumbled across a massive clearing that seemed to be paved with rocks the size of his torso.
But then he'd seen this. The Beast. His heart skipped a beat as the animal, if it could be called that, turned around, and looked at him. It was surprisingly quick for its size. Kenny froze with fright. Then he heard footsteps, most likely made by something even bigger than this . . . creature. But they sounded, familiar. As if he'd heard them somewhere. As if he'd heard them on a smaller scale . . . .
Hello there! Sorry for the long-winded story, I got carried away. XD
Anyways, I'd like to introduce you to my dog! And yes, that "Beast" is my dog. She's a 3 year old Shephound (German Shephard/Greyhound), who still has the energy she did when she was 1. She's the sweetest thing in the world. Well, not to people she doesn't know. XD
She's extremely protective, as my mom says.
