Rock Climbers

We'll leave the Cataract Gorge behind with this shot of some rock climbers. The Dolerite rock from the Jurassic era is a great face to climb. There are plenty of cracks to place pitons in and the rock is also very hard. This group of climbers from a local climbing club were enjoying a late afternoon on one of the rock faces. I should say though that about another 20 metres below the rocks in this photograph is the South Esk River.
