This is a photo of my sister preparing to make some food. I haven't seen her in a long time due to recent events and was very excited to finally meet up with her for dinner.
She doesn't live far from UT, and is about a 15-20 minute drive away from campus (in the MLK-183 neighborhood).
In this photo, she was wearing her company shirt in black (which is unique because it is usually turquoise in color). When she turned around, I saw that it is also a shirt supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. My sister is a strong advocate for BLM and went to many protests this summer. The conversation on BLM comes up often as she frequently donates and is a strong advocate for social change.
