TYPES OF THYROID DISORDERS

The thyroid gland is a small organ

Situated in the anterior part of the neck.

It can affect your whole body

if your thyroid doesn't function properly.

If too much thyroid hormone is released to

your body, a disorder called hyperthyroidism may develop.

If too little thyroid hormone is

produced by your body, that's called hypothyroidism.

Both conditions are extreme and the

healthcare provider has to handle them.
