I wanted to capture the moment of the high winds creating interesting textures on the water with the perfect silhouettes of the three ducks trying to navigate the unsteady ripples. I shot from a lower angle to incorporate the silhouettes of the branches, and edited this photo specifically so that the blues in the water are brought up, and for there to be a high contrast with the ducks, rock on the bottom, and branches from the tree.
