Star cluster M5

First time I take a picture of a stars cluster (suns). In such a picture the focus and tracking must be super accurate for the stars to come out round and beautiful.

The M5 cluster is about 24,500 light-years from the solar system and contains at least 100,000 stars. Its diameter is about 165 light-years.

 

Image data after filtering bad frames:

200 frames of full color RGB, each lasting 10 seconds, total photography of 33 minutes.

Telescope: Skywatcher Quattro 200P

Tripod: Skywatcher AZ-EQ6 Pro

Camera: ZWO ASI2600MC-P

Guiding Telescope: Skywatcher 9x50

Guiding camera: ZWO ASI178MC

Focuser: ZWO EAF
