Veterans Day

CT State Manchester held its annual Veterans Day program today at 1:00. The program opened with the National Anthem performed by student Gabriella Minott, who is in the Army National Guard. CEO Nicole Esposito welcomed guests and VETS Club President Luke Kunz also offered remarks. The Keynote speaker was Colonel Sean Connolly, who is the Staff Judge Advocate for the 88th Readiness Division, dual-headquartered at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin and Fort Snelling, Minnesota. In his civilian capacity, he is the Counsel for the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion, and Repair - Groton, Connecticut (SUPSHIP Groton) under the Naval Sea Systems Command. Colonel Connolly previously served as Commissioner of Connecticut’s Department of Veterans Affairs. After the program, guests visited the Tribute Book of living and deceased veterans and the field of flags at the campus entrance. Today's program was sponsored by the VETS Club at CT State Manchester.
