AAWCC Self Care Kits

Today, members of the American Association of Women in Community Colleges – Manchester Chapter came together to prepare self-care kits for the amazing student mothers at CT State Manchester. This is the first AAWCC chapter in Connecticut and the members, who are staff and faculty at the Manchester campus of CT State Community College, plan initiatives to fulfill the mission of changing women’s lives through education, service and leadership development .
The kits are packed with self-care items, sweet treats and words of encouragement, symbolizing a commitment to providing not just education but also a nurturing environment where students feel supported and valued. The kits will be distributed to student mothers during final exams. #AAWCC #SupportingStudentMothers
