Ladies of Legacy

The Student Government Association and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society–Alpha Upsilon Alpha Chapter to honor the women on the Manchester campus who hold it all together and keep it running. The event was held on March 19 and honored the women on campus by hosting a tea party in the Cougar Cave. The room was decorated to truly represent a high-tea atmosphere; pastries and snacks along with teas were provided. Guest speakers included: Joanne Todd, CEO of Northeast Family Federal Credit Union; Tammy Gerhardt, owner of Silk City Coffee; and Interim Dean of Faculty, Dr. June Dunn. All three encouraged interactive conversation among attendees. The women present were given tokens of appreciation by our students, which included inspirational thank-you cards with words of wisdom, and gift bags.
