Pet Therapy

Lilly took center stage at today’s pre-exam pet therapy session. Lilly’s rescuer saved her, her children and her two sisters from an uninhabitable home with 15 other dogs. Lilly, who had her litter at a very young age, had to have her tail removed; her rescuer thinks it got caught in a trailer door. But none of her early trauma has dampened Lilly’s joy for life or her love of people – this past January, Lilly passed her training to be a therapy dog.
