Trondheim in the late afternoon, reflections

The wharfs in Trondheim have a long history as storage facilities and loading/unloading cargo from the ships that came with traders from all over. The oldest wharfs in Trondheim were built around 1700 on both sides of the river Nidelva and the best-preserved wharfs today are the ones on the Bakklandet side.
