Sometimes I forget that my avatar has been wearing the Ukraine flag on her cheek since the war began. I have only removed it half a dozen times to take a picture, if I remember at all. I was reminded it was there by a lovely Ukrainian woman who IM'd me to thank me for supporting her country. Half a world away, there is very little I can do but wear the colours as a reminder that not everyone is as lucky in where they live as I am.
