This beautiful dish is titled Dish With Female Attendant. It was made in the Jiangxi Provence of China during the Qing Dynasty between 1662-1722, and, according to the Cleveland Museum of Art's website, is believed to have been a 60th birthday gift to Emperor Kangxi. The red Chinese characters that go around the plate translate to mean "Long life without limit." The medium is porcelain with famille verte overglaze enamel decoration.
