A Muddied Path to Victory - Mission 4.1
Our gunship whizzed through the clouds, darting right and left, attempting to outmaneuver the explosions which rippled through the dense smoke and harsh atmosphere. We slowed down, a hiss let out as the battleworn doors opened to a muddy and scorched earth. Shrubs were burnt to the ground, with helpless trees strutting up around the surface. I dropped down my macros, before I got a chance to speak a bolt darted past my right hand side erupting on the gunship's wing. I was sprung off my feet, and sent flying into the deep muddy mix of the ground.
As I got up smoke clouded my vision, and my ears rang in pain. I looked over my shoulder, the gunship was totaled. All I could see was a squad of shinies who appeared to have been able to flee from the gunship crash as well.
“Regroup at that station 2 klicks to the west” Their sergeant screamed as he was hit in the chest with a laser bolt rupturing his internal structure.
I pulled out my blaster to lead the broken up squad to the nationalists supply station. As we entered the heart of the battle gunshots blazed through the air and blazer bombs exploded across the ground sending dirt flying in evey direction. I approached the transfer station, frantically typing in coordinates to send to the fleet alerting them of our position.
A blaster bolt hit my right blaster as it clattered to the ground, I shook out my hand, grabbed a standard DC-15A and charged into battle with my fellow brothers.

I really enjoyed the prompt so I had to build for this @253rd_legion mission, I already have a build done for the second part too, which I plan to post next Friday!
