Shadow Sandals

Sunlight through screen front-door, streaming onto bare feet and beautiful densely-knotted rug from Joshaghan, Iran.

 

One of a series. For the others I emphasised that the feet looked a bit as if they were stockinged because of the fine shadow cast by the mesh on the security door, but in this case the criss-crossing shadows of the steel frame suggest sandals.
