In the Footlights
Earlier images of these feet have been well received. This is now the second of only two candid shots of them I have made. It was taken with an iPhone digitally zoomed while the sitter was relaxing in front of the TV in mixed interior light. (For me, distance and focal lengths are of particular concern in aiming for perspective that yield pleasing foot proportions.) So the feet are much the same, even if the image quality is not. But, although the blue nail polish came out a bit strangely in the mixture of light sources, I liked the colour effect and the mixture of back and side-lighting, and how the arch of the right foot clears a view for the more distant left big toe.
This image is something of a counterpoint to the one under the piano, which was taken just over a meter off to the right behind this one. Come to think of it, the toes of the right foot here suggest something of a piano playing posture…
