Allowing Dad a Natural Shot
A nano-second window for a 'Decisive Moment’.
My half-frame Pen FT struggled a bit at times with its zoom lens, but I enjoyed using it enough to accept a bit of softness and persist with it throughout my children's childhoods. When indoors, I always used the F1.4 42mm prime by south-facing (southern hemisphere) windows, but outdoors the zoom gave both to them and me a bit of space and a good range of pleasing portrait perspective to work in.
My favourite lighting, essentially even, but against its predominant front. Kodak Gold 100.
