Standing Amitabha-1800s Korea

This beautiful Korean Statue on display at the Cleveland Museum in section 236 Korean. Made of Gilt bronze in the Unified Silla period. Standing at 25.4 cm (10 in.); with tang: 26 cm this statue models naturalism and spirituality. Inspired by soft modeling this statue symbolizes achieving enlightenment. Brought to life in the Indian Gupta time period developed in China but then became popular in places across Eastern Asia. This piece was made by artist Robert H.
