Väinö Myllyrinne and the unknown brother-in-arms. Väinö Johannes Myllyrinne (27.2.1909-13.4.1963) served his military service in the Viipuri Heavy Artillery Regiment (RTR) from 1929 to 1930, so the photo is probably from that time.
At that time, Väinö's height was 226 cm, but he continued to grow up to 247 cm. During the Winter and Continuation War, Väinö served in various positions on the home front.
This photo was found in Jaakko Pukkila's wartime album, which was donated in 1998 to Kauhajoki veterans' heritage house.
