Flamencos en Doñana

Aún quedan algunos aportes hídricos que mantienen la vida salvaje en Doñana. Este es uno de ellos y allí encontramos una pequeña colonia de flamencos salvajes en la que se mezclan adultos y jóvenes pasando el invierno.

Esperemos que los responsables de proteger la vida en este emblemático lugar reaccionen sin demora. La sequía y la excesiva explotación de los recursos hídricos entre otros factores, están provocando lo que puede llegar a ser la destrucción para siempre de la riqueza y biodiversidad en las marismas del Guadalquivir.

 

 

There are still some water supplies that maintain wildlife in Doñana. This is one of them and there we find a small colony of wild flamingos in which adults and young people mix, spending the winter.

Let's hope that those responsible for protecting life in this emblematic place will react without delay. Drought and excessive exploitation of water resources, among other factors, are causing what may become the permanent destruction of wealth and biodiversity in the Guadalquivir marshes.
