Bei Rheinkilometer 544 …
… befindet sich südlich von Kaub nicht nur der bekannte runde ehemalige Schrankenposten 113, sondern auch eine Landesgrenze. Während die E10 228 und der erste Wagen des Sonderzuges zurück nach Stuttgart (vom Museum in Koblenz-Lützel) sich bereits in Hessen befinden, ist der Rest des Zuges noch in Rheinland-Pfalz.

... south of Kaub is not only the well-known round ehm. barrier post 113, but also a national border. While the E10 228 and the first car of the special train to Stuttgart (back from the museum in Koblenz-Lützel) are already in Hesse, the rest of the train is still in Rhineland-Palatinate.
