Samhain is an ancient Celtic festival celebrated from October 31 to November 1, marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. It is a spiritual time for pagan traditions and the Celtic New Year, believed to be when the veil between the spirit world and the human world thins, allowing spirits to cross over. Modern celebrations often involve bonfires, feasting, honoring ancestors, and reflecting on the past year to plan for the future.
What does the Bible say about Halloween? There's no mention of the holiday itself since it came into existence centuries after the Bible was written. (The holiday falls on the Gaelic festival of Samhain, considered the earliest known root of Halloween, and Halloween as we know it today became popular in the 1930's.)
