Rapariga Biz mentor - Anica - in Zambezia, Mozambique

Mentors from the adolescent sexual and reproductive health program - Rapariga Biz - play a key role in mentoring and supporting girls to make informed choices about their health, life and future.

These efforts and activities are supported by the Global Programme to End Child Marriage. The UNFPA-UNICEF program is designed around a package of evidence-based interventions to reduce child marriage, including empowering girls, keeping them in school, providing them with life skills and sexual and reproductive health services, and addressing social and cultural norms around child marriage. 2021 marks the 5th anniversary of the GPECM globally and in the East and Southern Africa region.
