Diana 24/7
10.23.21b
The challenge with Fall is to use the limited palette of colors to best advantage. I could, of course, just wear the muted colors and leave it at that, but there is a admittedly bit of the exhibitionist in me. I still want to have at least a little something to set me apart (what, Diana, being 6'4" isn't enough for you? Sheesh...)
I was thrilled to find this cardigan. The fabric is a warm cotton/poly blend, very plain, but the double line of rhinestones gives it just that bit of flair that I like. It also fits snugly but not tight, which is what I look for in a top.
I found the skirt at the same time, and it's a perfect length and color for fall. I think they pair together well...a bit plain, perhaps, but nicely coordinated.
And the colors in the heels are almost a perfect match...BONUS!
Addendum: After posting this photo, I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things. As I was checking out, the young man bagging my items said, "I like your outfit!" He couldn't have been much, if at all, older than 16, the legal age to work.
Now if only he had been single, and 50, or even 40 or 30 years older (and single)....
