Solids Only Challenge Quilt

This was my entry into the STLMQG Solid's Only Quilt Challenge sponsored by Robert Kaufman. (I won first place!!! (How exciting is that?!) (hApPY dAncINg!) (THANKS Guildies!))

I wanted to double-challenge myself to learn some new dimensional tucking techniques and incorporate some visual flow with the solids. It is hand quilted with pearl cotton to give it more of a 3D embroidered effect.

(For some reason the blue background fabric photographs much lighter than the actual vivid marine of the fabric.)
